Obituary of Kevin B Duckworth
Kevin Duckworth, 66, a lifelong resident of Washington, NJ passed away suddenly on April 5 at his home. Kevin passed away doing what he loved, working in the garden, at the house up on the hill that his father built.
Kevin was born on December 19, 1953 to the late George "Bill" Duckworth and Karolyn "Ducky" Walters.
If you didn't know Kevin, you've definitely heard him. Kevin was always the loudest in the room, constantly cracking jokes and being the life of the party. He was a person everybody wanted to be around, which explains how he knew everyone!
He was the owner and operator of Kevin Duckworth Construction. If you knew Kevin, you knew that he was always there to lend a hand, especially when working on Schnetzer's farm; he was always a farmer at heart. Kevin also maintained the Lawrenceville School Camp in Asbury, NJ for many years. Kevin never left the house or went to any worksite without his faithful dog Misha by his side.
Kevin was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting with the Sullivan Line hunting club, fishing and taking many cross-country motorcycle trips.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington, NJ.
Kevin is survived by his loving son, Chad (Washington); his companion, Grace Kreps (Butler Park); his caring siblings, George and his wife Elaine (Muncy Valley, PA), Jeffrey (Washington), Jerry (White Township), Wendy Keenan and her husband Mark (Phillipsburg) and Hillary Taylor (Nazareth, PA). In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kay Smuck (Leola, PA) and sister-in-law, Clarie Duckworth.
He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews. George, Jeffrey, Josh, Jaren, Arielle, Mandee, and Sydney.
