Obituary of Robert Edwin Dritschel

With the deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Robert Edwin Dritschel, 26, of Port Murray on June 18, 2020. Those who knew Robert even for a short time lost a shining light in their lives. Robert was born in Carrolton, GA on November 13, 1993, to Ronald Dritschel and the late Janell M. "Wall" Dritschel. He was a graduate of Warren Hills High School class of 2012. He lived most of his life in Port Murray, NJ. Robert was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Staffa Stone and Landscape Design in Bayville, NJ. He served proudly in the US Army as a Military Policemen, stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon. Robert loved so many and was loved by so many more. He had an energy and way about him, that with even just one encounter with him, you would remember him always. Robert enjoyed the outdoors and in particular fishing for bass in the lake or sharks in the ocean with his Dad and Sisters. Robert was always there to lend a hand when needed. He also loved working out at the gym, especially with his best buddy Brian Arnold. Rob was also very fond of his tattoos and each one had a very special meaning to him. Robert will be deeply missed by his father, Ronald, his wife Claudia; sisters, Brittany Renee, and Tiffany Elizabeth Dritschel; his Aunt Mary McAdams and her husband John; "Brothers" Joseph and Brandon Comerford and "Sisters" Sara Comerford Pierson and Emily McAdams and his Grandfather Robert L. Dritschel, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many great friends. We find solace knowing that Robert is now by his mother's side, and with his Grandmothers, Gramps, and beloved Aunts and will forever be loved here on earth as well as in heaven. Forever in our hearts...we love you, Rob! There will be a remembrance of life for Robert on Tuesday June 23, 202 at 3:00 PM at the home of John & Mary McAdams located at 8 Rosewood Lane, Washington NJ. (All attending must wear a mask).
