Obituary of Linda K Mast

Linda K. Mast, 68, of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully on April 12, 2021. Linda was born on November 13, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Leo and Frances "Hammer" Davne. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Levittown class of 1970. She also earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from La Salle College class of 1974. Linda was employed in various positions, the last being the Director of Sales and Circulation for the Bergen Record Newspaper. She worked for over 30 years in the newspaper industry before her retirement in 2018. She enjoyed dog training and was a regular competitor at area dog shows. She also enjoyed attending shows as a spectator including the Westminster dog show in NY. Above all she loved her family, especially being a Grammy. Her favorite moments were anytime family was gathered together. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Joseph; a son, Gregory and his wife Susan; daughters, Beth and her partner Faith Cortright, and Kimberly and her husband Terence McLaughlin; brothers, Sanford and Joel Davne; grandchildren, Davne, Joseph, Edwin Mast and Keegan McLaughlin. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday April 16, 2021 from 2-4 PM and 7-8:30 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Friday at 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Linda's name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pa can.org) or your local cancer research center and think of wearing purple in November.
