Obituary of William J Percarpio

William J Percarpio, 83, of Naples Florida, formerly of Long Valley, NJ passed away on February 4, 2021 at his home in Naples Florida. William was born on March 4, 1937 in Fall River, Massachusetts to late Frank and Bernadette Percarpio. William attended Saint Phillips & James High School and proudly served in the navy immediately after. He then worked at Northern Dye in Washington, New Jersey. He opened BELPAT Enterprise while owning a commercial building in Washington, NJ which he sold in 2018. William and Lorraine retired to Florida where he enjoyed fishing and obtained his captains license. He was an avid hunter and belonged to the Cape Coral Gun Club and was an enthusiastic collector of guns. He also had a passion for raising orchards, oil painting, scuba diving and raising all breeds of dogs and had a love of horses. William is survived by his wife of 63 years Lorraine Percarpio, his loving children, son and daughter in law Thomas and Kendra Percarpio, grandchildren Carrington and Will Percarpio of Florida, NY. Daughter Patricia Murray of Naples, FL. His caring sibling's brother and sister in law Dr. Timothy & Mai Percarpio of Carlisle, PA.Sister and brother in law Terry and Colleen McGowan of Yarmouth, Mass. Sister in law Brenda Percarpio of New Castle, NH. In addition to his parents, William is preceded in his death by his daughter Alice Marie Percarpio, grandson Shayne William Murray, son Edward John Percarpio and brother Dr. Bernard Percarpio. Family and friends may pay their respects Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 10 - 11 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, New Jersey 07882. A memorial service celebrating William's life will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Inurnment will follow service at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in Washington, NJ.
