Obituary of Robert J. French

Robert J. French Jr., 80, formerly of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on June 22, 2021 at Morris View Nursing Home. Robert was born on August 21, 1940 in Mount Pleasant, NY to the late Robert and Grace French Sr. He graduated from Hastings on the Hudson High School class of 1958. After high school Robert served proudly in the US Army. He was employed as a truck driver for more than 50 years until his retirement in 2010. Robert is survived by a sister, Eileen Handlin; nieces and nephews, Frank Handlin, Kathleen Butler and her husband Robert, Richard Handlin and his wife Jennifer; Great nieces and nephews, Glenn Handlin and his significant other Lilybeth Feliciano-Acevedo, Kyle Handlin, Adam Handlin, Danny Butler, Ally Butler; 2 great great nephews, Mason Handlin and Grayson Handlin. Judy Handlin - Niece (in law) Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
