Obituary of Patricia A. Hockenbury

Patricia A. Hockenbury, 76, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2021 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Patricia was born on April 19, 1945 in Newton, NJ to the late Woodrow & Ethel Mae "Pearce" Wilson Sr. She graduated from Washington High School class of 1963. She earned a certificate in Dietary Management then continued on to earn her degree in Nursing from Somerset Community College. Patricia was employed as an LPN for Warren County Corrections, Warren Hospital and Mountain View Corrections for many years until her retirement in 2003. Earlier in her life she was a server at Hills Diner in Washington, Hunterdon Developmental Center where she made many friends some for life. Pat loved camping with her companion Russel Morgan (Predeceased) and vacationing with friends. She also enjoyed needlepoint, ceramics and crafts. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Hockenbury and Kathryn Hockenbury; sons, John Hockenbury and Henry Hockenbury and his wife Deborah and Robert; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Mullikin and a brother Woodrow Wilson Jr. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday October 30, 2021 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Oxford, NJ.
