Born on December 17, 1956, in New Brunswick, NJ, Cecilia was the beloved daughter of the late Carmen and Carmella "Fiore" Mazza. She graduated from Piscataway High School in 1974 before earning her nursing degree from Trenton State College. Cecilia dedicated her career to caring for others as a registered nurse, specializing in Labor and Delivery, where she played a vital role in supporting mothers and newborns through the miracle of childbirth. Her compassion, skill, and unwavering dedication left a lasting impact on the many families she assisted throughout her career. Later in life, she further expanded her passion for wellness by becoming board-certified in Meditation and Breathwork, helping others find peace and healing. Beyond her professional life, Cecilia enjoyed baking and spending time in her garden. She found joy in painting and music, expressing her creativity in ways that brought beauty and inspiration to those around her. Cecilia had a strong love of her large extended family. Cecilia co-organized the Meadow Breeze Classic which is an annual charity soccer game raising donations and awareness for the W.M. Keck Center for Collaborative Neuroscience at Rutgers University. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Joshua Fink and his wife Kristen and Abbey Fink; her sister, RoseAnn Chavez and her husband Ernie, her cherished grandsons, Gavin and Liam, and nephews, Daniel, Christian, and Kenneth.
