Obituary of Carmen D. Pantuso
Carmen D. Pantuso 74, of Englewood, Fla. and Sevierville, Tenn. formerly of Washington, N.J. passed away on January 11, 2015 in Sarasota, Fla.
Carmen was born on October 25, 1940 in Port Colden, N.J. to the late Russell and Rose (Pulsinelli) Pantuso.
Carmen graduated from Washington High School and East Stroudsburg University. He was a very talented athlete and was recently inducted into the Blue Streak Wall of Fame as the school’s first 1000-point scorer. Carmen worked in the family business at the Blue Roof Restaurant in Washington. He was co-owner of Tri-County Toyota in Washington. Carmen also worked in sales and real estate. He loved the warm weather, fishing, boating and traveling the country in his motor home.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol Ann Carden; children Chris Pantuso and his wife Jo-Ann of Valley Cottage, N.Y., Curt Pantuso and his wife Julie of Phillipsburg, N.J., Andrea Pantuso and her fiancé Tony Mancini of Northampton, Penn., Michele Tolotta-Erwin and her husband Keith of Alexandria Twp., N.J. and Tom Doty and his wife Lisa of Tipton, Mich; brothers Ron Pantuso and his wife Lynn of Naples, Fla. and Washington, N.J., Robert Pantuso and his wife, Kathy of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and sister Sharon Gulick and her husband Jeff of Washington, N.J.; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter, Annette.
Services were held on January 17, 2015 at Carmen’s home in Florida. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
