My dear Aunt Jo, it is very hard to say goodbye! My cousins and I, were blessed to have not one mother, but three.....our own mom and her two sisters. We spent so much time together growing up - Sunday dinners at Grandma's house, summers in Greenwood Lake, holidays.....such special times. I don't know why but this comes to mind. When I was dating my husband to be, he came to our Thanksgiving celebration at Aunt Jo and Uncle Pauls' house for the first time. He so thoroughly enjoyed himself and felt so welcomed. He talked about it for months, and still does till this day. Not being Italian, he could not understand how we could gather at 2:00 in the afternoon and not leave the table until 8:00. My mom was high strung, Aunt Babe was a spit fire, and Aunt Jo - you were the sweet, calm one, that balanced everything out. I don't know why I didn't say it to you while you were here with us, but......Aunt Jo, I love you and you will be missed! xoxoxo

Dear Andrea, Nick & family. With a saddened heart I say goodbye to my dear Aunt Jo. My memories of all those wonderful days we shared at Grandma's and at Greenwood Lake will be in my heart forever. We were such a lucky family and such lucky kids to have the nurturing and love that we all shared together. The Three Sisters will always bring us happy memories and put smiles on our faces when we remember them with their bathing suits & wedges, walking down the hills of Indian Park. They were a threesome the likes of which will never be seen again. But, we were the lucky recipients of their love and devotion and with God's help, we will pass this along to our families. Goodbye sweet lady. May you rest in peace. You will be sorely missed by everyone!!!
