Obituary of Kenneth M. Borden

Kenneth M. Borden, 54, a lifelong resident of Port Murray, NJ passed away peacefully at The Gardens for Memory Care in Easton, PA on February 22, 2020. Kenny was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on July 1, 1965 to Stanley and Carol Borden. Kenny graduated from North Hunterdon High School class of 1987. He was employed as a cart attendant at Shop Rite in Washington, NJ for 29 years. He was well known by all the customers for his smiling face, great sense of humor, and helpfulness. He was a talented athlete and enjoyed competing in the Special Olympics. He participated in Swimming, Skiing and Bowling. Kenny enjoyed going on cruises with his family and the ARC of Warren County. In his youth, he attended Camp Warren in the summers and was known for his mischievous antics. Kenny loved animals, babies and listening to music. He was a huge Batman fan and enjoyed watching his favorite superhero on television. He is survived by his loving parents, Stanley and Carol; a sister, Karen Hagerty and her husband Jeff; A brother, Keith Borden and his wife Sharon; 14 nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 27, 2020, at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church. 830 Fifth Ave. Alpha, NJ 08865. Burial will be private at a later date.
