We feel blessed to have known Herb. He was a wonderful, kind man with a great sense of humor. I enjoyed sharing West New York memories with him. Our sympathies to his entire family. Sincerely, Louise and Bill Sinnott

We remember Herb as someone who always had a smile on his face. He was smart, fun and hardworking, and raised a great family. His zest for life, and people, will be missed by all.

Uncle Herb's death is a loss to all of us. He was always kind and nurturing to me as a child, a teen and an adult. We will never forget his smile and his excitement every time we would see each other.Diane and I are so sorry for your loss.

I was deeply saddened by the loss of Herb Fischer. One of my first friends here at Lake Tamarack. Always willing to lend an ear, give advice, or teach you how to do something. You couldn't ask for a better neighbor. I can recall Herb saying to me don't buy any tools I have them all, borrow mine. That was Herb generous and helpful. While I was unemployed Herb would check up on me and even pray for me that I found work.
To Joan and the Fischer Family I can only say, my prayer and thoughts are with you. He was truly a great man. And if there is a heaven that is certainly where he is. Probably keeping tabs on us all.
