Marcie, Gayle & to your entire family! I am so sorry for your loss! We have a lot of great memories with Jake and all of you over the years at Gayles house in Palmer. Our last memory was having dinner with them at Eddies last summer on the patio & Matt and Carson came along too! It wasn't much after that that he was diagnosed! My first memory of Jake was over 30 years ago when I was just hired as a police officer in Oxford. I was introduced to Jake by Chief Harvey Hissim as Stews did all of Oxfords heavy duty towing back then. From the first time I met Jake, he always treated me with respect and we became and remained friends for all those years. I will always remember and cherish our talks (long ones) and Jakes big smile. I will miss him dearly.

Marcie, Gail and family,
So sorry to hear of Jake's passing. He was a terrific friend and was always there to lend a hand. I used to love to stop at the shop and spend hours talking racing with him. When I was the school bus mechanic at Warren Hills and needed a hand moving a bus, Jake was there within minutes in any kind of weather and helped out. Just a great man that will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace my friend !!!

LARGE OR SMALL, Jake handled “ em “all. I first met Jake back in the early 70’s when my sister’s VW bug broke down. Jake responded with his trustworthy tow truck and always started joking with Debbie and I.
From meeting Jake, I’ve met and adore his entire family. RIP Jake.

Jake was a man that worked sometimes 24 hours a day. He always had a smile. At no time did he ever give up a chance to sit and talk about old times. I will miss stopping by for a few minutes to chat. By the way lasted hours at times. But that was Jake no matter what he found the time. Jake was a very talented individual. He will always be one of the best around. To the entire Stew's Crew I am sorry for your loss. Keep up the wonderful work you guys do. All my best! YOGI.
