Obituary of Timothy J Snyder Sr.

Timothy J. Snyder, Sr, 74, of Washington, NJ passed away on April 22, 2021 in Hunterdon Medical Center. Tim was born on July 4, 1946 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was the son of the late James and Minerva Snyder. Tim graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School in 1965. He then worked for Local 455 of the International Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners for thirty-five years. He later worked for the Witte Company until his retirement. Tim was the ultimate family man; his wife, children, and amazing grandchildren came first. He loved sharing his love of hunting, fly fishing and shooting clay birds with them. Tim and Brandy were members of the Changewater United Methodist Church and they found comfort in their faith. Tim is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years Brandau (Brandy) Snyder (nee Appel), his loving children, daughter and son-in-law Gretchen and Ron Craig; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Sarah Snyder; son Matt Snyder; his amazing grandchildren Elizabeth, Daniel, and Olivia; and his good buddy Gunnar. Family and friends may pay their respects at the viewing on Monday, April 26th from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. Service will be held on Tuesday, April 27th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow service at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, 108 Valley Road, Hampton, NJ 08827. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the St. Jude's Foundation in memory to Timothy J. Snyder, Sr. this was a foundation near and dear to Tim's heart.
