Obituary of Lawrence T DeMarco

Lawrence T. DeMarco, 87, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2021 in his home in the Brookfield section of Belvidere, NJ. Larry was born on January 9, 1934 in Port Jervis, NY to the late Thomas and Elizabeth "Stellato" DeMarco. Larry grew up in Kearny, NJ. He graduated from Kearny High School class of 1952. He earned his Engineering degree from the Newark College of Engineering. Larry served proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. Larry was employed by Pantasote Premium Plastic as a Tool Designer and Plant Engineer for more than 25 years until his retirement in 1993. His loving wife Concetta "Cavalier" DeMarco passed away in 2008. Larry was a faithful parishioner of St Patrick's Catholic Church in Belvidere, NJ. He enjoyed bowling, going to the casino, playing cards and playing Bocce Ball. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan. Larry is survived by his sons, Wayne DeMarco and his wife Maureen and Keith DeMarco and his wife Shelley; a brother, Pasquale DeMarco and a sister, Rosemarie Rosevear and 5 grandchildren. In addition to his wife Larry was preceded in death by a sister Antoinette and a brother Thomas DeMarco. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday June 13, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington NJ. 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. 327 Greenwich St. Belvidere, NJ 07823.
