I first met Tim many years ago online from trading cards. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable when it came to collecting cards. I considered him a friend and he will be greatly missed! My condolences to the Swales family. Bob

My heart goes out to all in the Swales family. He was a fine person. He was always concerned about other people, and would ask me in the subject line of an E-Mail if I was okay. We met in 2015. Tim sought me out as a card collector. He said he was very impressed with my graded 3 Stooges card Sets on the P.S.A. Registry. We became friends instantly and spoke and or E-Mail Ed each other at least once a week up to the afternoon before his passing. Tim always appeared very stoic. Every few months I would receive a more detailed E-Mail where he *would let his hair down" as they say, and I knew he was troubled. When asked it, he very rarely went into depth about it. The last E-Mail I received from him about 5 P.M. before his last day contained the quote "I hate life.". That day was probably the only day I spoke to him twice. So sorry to go on about it. Tim loved his family. and he loved trading cards...boy, did he love trading cards. I miss him terribly.

Tim was one of my best friends growing up on Sliker Rd. We spent many hours riding our bikes from Califon to Chester, finding the best fishing spots in the area and playing many hours of Defender at Nicola's Pizza. On the Voorhees soccer team, Tim was a great teammate, friend and player. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew him.

Tim was a wonderful friend. I came to know him through emails and FB messages and phone calls before 2016 -- when I attended the Three Stooges Convention is PA. I was a stranger in a strange land and knew only Mr. Cohen -- but Tim instantly befriended me and kept me company EVERY HOUR for all 3 days my table was at the convention. A true buddy! Ever since then, we'd chat on the phone at least once a month and do messages and emails at least once a week. Such a beautiful person -- encouraging, generous, and a true friend (and I don't have loads of friends). He would put up with my rambling stories about trading card publishing ... and we'd share stories of tracking down scarce cards. Such a likeable guy. I miss him. I had the pleasure of working with Tim for many years. He was the one person you could count on to help brighten your day. He worked hard and yet always made time for his colleagues.
My sincere condolences to your family for such a great loss.
I pray that Tim will continue to protect and guide you through this difficult time.
Rest In Peace my friend.

We’re so deeply saddened by this news. Fantastic memories growing up in Califon, fishing, biking, jacking baseballs over the school fence, and later the cars(yeah Jeff Heft….I remember the bottomless VW too). Tim was one the most honest, caring, helpful and hard working people ever. He’ll be greatly missed by all.

So very sad to hear this news. Deepest condolences to family and friends.Childhood seems so long ago but that is when I met Tim and I echo other’s words - he was so genuinely nice and kind. He went out of his way to buy lemonade from the kids’ roadside stand and made them feel like a million bucks! Rest In Peace.

Tim was one of the kindness souls I have ever met. I have fond memories with working with him at the A&P and driving in his old VW bug watching the road go by looking they the rusted floor boards! I’m gonna miss that wink Tim had….. he was a good man
