With heartfelt sadness at the loss of both your mom and dad I write this to Margaret, Mary Ann and Stephanie
Wow ! Your mom and dad could only stand to be apart for 4 days ! To me a true sign of the love they shared and their devotion to one another. Yet think about how long you and your family had to share the joy of their lives. You were lucky, Mary Ann 88 and John 91 ! They sure wanted to stick around and spend as much life as they could with you girls, family and friends.
That is the one thing that stood out to me the most in Mary Ann's obituary. She LOVED her family, endlessly. Her family was her life's blood, her mission. You could see this in all she did for all of you.
Your father enjoyed being in service to others and always making new friends. He had the gift of gab and always told the most interesting and mesmerizing stories. I could have listened to him for hours and Mike did .
Every Mom and Dad hopes to teach their children to be strong knowing that one day they will be gone. Today is that day. They made you all strong and they lived a damn good life. So remember what a firecracker you mom could be and how your Dad lived life to the fullest. I loved your mom and dad and I love you guys. Let's go celebrate their lives and all the memories they left us. Dianne, Mike and kids
