George, Toots, Jourdan and pups, I am so sorry for your huge loss.
The hours, nights and years I spent in the ER with Lorraine and her sparkling eyes & contagious smile, I will never forget. When she wasn’t caring for patients & families or listening to me or her many other friends talk about their personal lives, she was telling us stories about YOU. She loved you all so much and she talked about you all with so much love and humor frequently.
She was a good friend, a great listener and hilarious. She was a great nurse. She developed relationships with her patients which is so lost in healthcare. She related her life experiences to them and all of us too.
I can’t hit submit without writing: now that I am in my mid-40s, I understand the need for a low temperature thermostat. I will also never forget her telling what attire I needed to wear and NOT wear under a wedding gown.
Thank you for the laughs, shoulder and friendship Lorraine.

To my dearest cousin Lorraine,
I said a prayer for you to thank the Lord above, for blessing me with a lifetime of your tenderhearted love. I thanked God for the caring you've shown me through the years, for the closeness we've enjoyed, in time of laughter and of tears. And so I thank you from the heart, for all you've done for me. And I bless the Lord for giving me, the BEST cousin there could be!
They say there is a reason, they say that time will heal. Neither time nor reason will change the way I feel. Gone are the days we used to share. But in my heart, you are always there. The gates of memories will never close...I miss you more than anybody knows. Till we meet again, always and forever.
Love,
Bobby Kennedy & Family

Lorraine, my beautiful friend
Words fall short when I have to express my grief.
Thank you for the many good and wonderful times we had during the 3 years I was in the United States. Our long walks with your beautiful dog Ginger.
Thank you for everything. You will never be forgotten, for me you will always be missed.
In 1986 we had a chance to meet once again for our reunion at Union High School, when I returned to the US from Denmark.
Where We had a chance once again to spent time together with wonderful memories smiles, and laughter. And I will always treasure your kindness your honesty and wonderful friendship
Lorraine, my beautiful friend you will remain in my heart for ever and ever.

Working the nightshift at Warren E.R with Lorraine , I have many fond memories. She had a gigantic cup full of ice which was her trademark. She loved to talk about her dogs because they were her "babies". When she would call to give report, if she was on hold she would put the phone on speaker so she could sing along with the music. Lorraine could take any moment and make it fun or have a joke to lighten the mood . She was also a life saving nurse, very dedicated. Lorraine would love to talk about her summer vegetables grown fresh in the garden. She truly was one of a kind.

Lorraine was a big role model for me. She taught me that I was powerful and that I should not ever give that power to anyone else!! I was the boss of me!! I loved listening to her stories. I was always Amazed that she could eat such huge salads!!! I loved her laugh! She was often my sounding board and was always thoughtful w her advice. She's one of my favorite people and a BEAUTIFUL soul!! She will be missed..but I know she lives on. Of that I am sure. Big love to her family..you know I'm thinking of you and am sending BIG love your way
