Pattie, Susan and I just found out about Danny's passing here at this site. We are so sorry about your loss.
It doesn't seem like it has been six years since we moved from 60 Norfolk Avenue in Washington; time goes by fast.
Your Mom and Dad along with you and Danny were great neighbors for many years. You all are sorely missed.
May God give you comfort and fond memories at this time.

My cousin Danny was a wonderful and special person. I remember when we were both young boys and I could not wait to see him every summer. My parents and I would go to visit the New Jersey Wyckoff’s for a week since we lived in Maryland. Danny and I were interested in CB’s and short wave radio. One year when we visited Danny, he had bought this HUGE short wave radio. It was as big as a small dresser. I think we listened to it for hours. Later in our lives, Danny and I enjoyed spending many hours on the phone discussing world affairs, the stock market, and the good old days. He always showed his caring nature for people. Danny had some adversities in life, but he overcame them; nothing was going to stop him. Danny, may the roads rise to meet you, May the winds be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. Rest In Peace, my cousin.

My heartfelt condolences to Daniel’s family. I had the pleasure of delivering meals to Daniel for the past 2 years. He ALWAYS had a smile and wished me a wonderful week, as I left. My visit to his home was a definite bright spot to my day. May he rest in peace.

Hello, This may be a repeat ...because something went wrong technically:
I had the honor of knowing Daniel for a short time. He was a "true" Gentleman and Scholar! I always looked forward to seeing him. He had a great sense of humor, very caring and smart as a whip! I was looking forward to the day he played the organ as we were in discussion what kind he would want to play today. There was never a dull moment talking with him. He knew a lot about things or would have such an inquisitive mind. I think the Good Lord needed another Angel and someone to do "the books". He is sorely missed by me but I hope we can meet again up in heaven. Keep the books rolling Daniel!!
My Condolences to his family.
Sincerely, Lois Adams a.k.a. "Korrie"
