Obituary of Diane J. Piermattie

Diane J. Piermattie, 84, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2023 at Morristown Medical Center. Diane was born on November 23, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Peter and Anna "Magnani" Biolsi. Diane graduated from Dumont High School class of 1956. She was employed as a Medical Transcriber for Medical Park Imaging in Wayne, NJ for many years until her retirement in 2005. Her loving husband Charles Piermattie passed away in 1975, and her long-time companion, Michael Moretti, passed away in 2017. Earlier in her life, she worked as a secretary for Union Carbide in New York City. Diane enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, and gardening. She was especially fond of Bocce Ball. Diane is survived by a daughter, Lisa Hack, Lisa's husband, Michail, and her grandchildren, Alexandra, Catherine, and Maxwell. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday April 3, 2023 from 5-7 Pm at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.
