I remember Dave, from Warren Hills. It has been many years, but always remember how pleasant he was. The kind of individual that everyone liked. So sorry to hear of your loss. Hope that the "peace that passes all understanding" will bring you comfort at this time.

I send my deepest condolences to family and friends. I have a special memory I'd like to share.
I was a gawky/nerdy junior high kid...
At the end of the school year, I think it was 8th grade, my girl scout troop held a father-daughter evening. Unfortunately, my dad (a blue collar guy who worked swing shift for years) was not able to attend. It meant I would either go alone or have to miss it.
Thus enters Dave. I'm thinking I was about 13 or 14 which puts his age at 18-19. I'm pretty sure he found out about my predicament through my friend's (Lisa) sister (Tammy Bormann). Their mom was one of our scout leaders...
Dave offered to be my honorary "dad/date" for the evening. Can you imagine a young man offering to take some dorky girl to a dad-dinner?!
He was so handsome! And so kind!!! Honestly, he made me feel special and beautiful. Truly he was a wonderful guy. I know that reflected who he was.
I'm so very sorry for your loss.
