My heart felt sympathy goes out to this beautiful family, I am lucky to be a part of. Jim was such a presence whenever and wherever he was. I’ve never seen him without a smile and/or making someone else laugh. Linda and Amy, I am so sorry for this massive loss. You have all my love and prayers. I’m so sorry I could not be there. I am not in NJ. Always here for any of you. Love and hugs to all. God Blessed Jim, and the rest of the family to have each other now and always.

Lin and Amy I don’t know where to start!! It’s definitely not easy losing your best friend. JR and I go back 40 years and those 40 years were absolutely the best times of my life!! Our friendship grew to the point that our families were joined together as one big happy family. I can’t thank you enough for being in the lives of our children. JR had a special bond with all three of our kids. He became Uncle Jimmy to all of them. We shared so many fun laughing times together and we always loved his smile and especially his signature laugh. He always had a great joke or two as we sat and had a few beers. We think of him every day and miss him so much!! Until we meet again rest in peace Honch!! We love you!!

Linda, My Deepest Condolences.
JR was a Character indeed and probably one of the funniest people I ever knew. I worked with JR virtually his entire Career at Mountainview. He was the KING of ONE LINERS and made everyone laugh. He was great at his Job and the Inmates respected him because he has a way with words. JR went with us to Myrtle Beach one yr. and while we were at Newark Airport he was having a blast, mostly teasing people in the Terminal and then when he found a Wheelchair well that just topped it off. Before we knew it the Capt. of the Plane came out to address us and told us, "We were going to be refused entry to the plane unless he, (JR), stopped with his antics" Well we quickly informed JR to KNOCK IT OFF or we weren't getting on the plane. The look on his face was amazing because he was shocked that he had to stop. The entire week was filled with Memories that we will forever cherish. After we retired we lost touch with one another. I hadn't known that you had moved to Raleigh because I am also in NC in the Blue Ridge Mts.
I have attached a picture of the golf group in Myrtle Beach. If you look closely you will see all of us with McDonald Puppets on our hands, except the guy in the front in the red shirt, his nickname at work was Ronald McDonald because of his Red Hair and big feet. Well Ronald McDonald did not know we had the hand puppets when we posed for this picture. That entire week we had so many laughs with JR he was so much fun to be around.
Once again, my Deepest Condolences.
