Obituary of Steven Schreffler

Steven Schreffler, 62 of Belvidere, NJ passed away on March 18, 2024 surrounded by his family. Steven was born on March 23, 1961 in Phillipsburg, NJ to Jane Schreffler nee. Ehrie and the late Jack Schreffler. He was a graduate of Belvidere High School class of 1979 and the Welder Training and Testing Institute in Allentown, PA. Steven worked as a Union IronWorker before working more recently for Warren County Buildings and Grounds. In 41 years of marriage, Steven and Kelli created a warm and loving home where everyone was loved and welcomed. Steven was happiest when he got to spend time with any of his children, whether it was a quick phone call or a full day of being together. Being Edie's "Grampy" was the "true magic" in his life. He enjoyed many activities that were outdoors but especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, and hunting for arrowheads. Of the many projects that were presented to him, Steven was always willing to help out. Steven is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kelli and their children; Allyse and her husband Greg, Ty and his wife Jena, Jordon and his wife Shawn and Ian and his wife Kate. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Edith and his siblings; Susan Primiano and her husband Dr. George Primiano and Dan Schreffler. In addition to his father, Steven is predeceased by his brother James. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday March 26, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington NJ 07882. A memorial service celebrating Steven's life will take place at 7:30 PM in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
