Obituary of Louise E. Adams

Louise E. Adams, 84 of Broadway NJ, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024 at Country Meadows Nursing Home, Bethlehem, PA. Louise was born on August 23, 1939 in Phillipsburg, NJ to the late Ray L. and Mildred "Apgar" Crisman Sr. She graduated from Phillipsburg High School class of 1957. Louise was employed as a Principal Accounting Clerk for the Warren County Public Health Nursing Agency for nearly 30 years until her retirement in 2014. She also worked for PNC Bank and the Blue Army Shrine earlier in her life. Louise was a past member of the Franklin Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a longtime member of the Broadway United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, walking, watching soap operas and Hallmark movies. She was all about family. She cherished family Sunday dinners, which she loved to cook for. She loved vacationing in the Outer Banks and LBI. Louise was truly the glue that held the family together. She met the love of her life husband Harvey S. Adams at the Villa Roller Rink when they were teenagers. Louise is survived by her children, Debbie Wildrick (Mark) and Denise Becton (Lee). A granddaughter, Hana Cicerelle (Ryan) a step-grandson, David Becton. She also leaves behind a brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband Harvey, Louise was preceded in death by her brother Ray L. Crisman, Jr. Family and friends may pay their respect on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 6-8 PM and again on Friday morning June 28, 2024 from 11 AM- 12 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebrating Louise's life will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bloomsbury Cemetery.
