Obituary of Doris E. Lynch
Doris E. Lynch, 80, of the Brookfield section of Belvidere, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004, in Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg.
Born: March 3, 1923, in Washington, she was a daughter of the late G. William Duckworth and Rose Sheets.
Personal: She and her husband, Richard, were married for 60 years. Doris was a homemaker and had worked at the Oxford Textile Plant eary in her life. She had lived in Washington for most of her life. Doris was a 1942 graduate of Washington High School. Mrs. Lynch was talented in sketching and drawing and enjoyed traveling.
Memberships: She was a member of the Washington Women's Club and the Warren Garden Club.
Survivors: Her husband; a daughter, Clair Ward, and her husband, Walter, of Hackettstown; four grandchildren, Jennifer Ostrander, Adrienne Starck, Nathaniel Ward and Molly Eger; and three great-grandchildren. SHe was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy; two brothers, G.William and Wayne Duckworth; and four sisters, AUgusta Snyder, Margaret Miller, Mildred Duckworth and Dorothy Plenge.
Services: 11 a.m., Monday in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington. Call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetary in Washington.
