Obituary of Dolores McCalley

Dolores Duley McCauley, 78, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Born: In Baltimore, MD, on March 4, 1931, she was a daughter of Melvin and Anna Margaret Amersbach Duley. Personal: She moved to Union, NJ in 1974, where she resided before moving to White Township, NJ five years ago. She was active in the United Methodist Church in both Roselle Park, NJ and Belvidere, NJ. She loved to travel and delighted everyone with her baking. Her children and her grandchildren were her life. Survivors: Dolores is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Kenmore 'Ken' McCauley; her two daughters, Eileen Hirsch of Union, NJ and Diane Wirkus of Roselle Park, NJ; and three grandchildren, Michelle, Patrick and Stephanie. Services: A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Belvidere United Methodist Church. Memorials: The family appreciates memorials made to either of the churches she loved; Belvidere UMC, 219 Hardwick St., Belvidere, NJ 07823 or Community UMC, 301 Chestnut St., Roselle Park, NJ 07204. The arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home, Washington, NJ.
