Obituary of Wampha E. Marsh
Wampha E. Marsh, 91, of Blairstown, NJ, died peacefully, Saturday, July 8, 2006, in her home, with her family by her side.
Born: On August 15, 1914 in Bayonne, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Amy Urban.
Personal: Her husband of 69 years, Seymour, died in 2004.
She had resided in Blairstown for 12 years. Prior to that, she resided in Washington, NJ. She was Fleet Manager at Solomon Chevrolet for 17 years until her retirement in 1976. Wampha was a graduate of Roselle High School, Class of 1932.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed gardening and playing bridge.
Memberships: She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Washington, NJ. She was also a member of the Cranford Garden Club and was a founder of the Toms River Garden Club.
Survivors: She is survived by two sons, Seymour, Jr., and his wife, Lyn, of Easton, and Blaine, and his wife, Barbara, of Blairstown, NJ, four grandchildren, Jonathan, Susan, Michael, and Gina; and four great-grandchildren, Rees, Ian, Beck, and Kaitlin.
Services: Will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the church, 40 East Church St., Washington, NJ. Call on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ. Burial will be in Bloomsbury Presbyterian Cemetery.
