Obituary of Diane M. Nagy

Diane M. Nagy 68, of Washington Twp passed away peacefully on Friday October 11, 2013 at Warren Haven nursing home with her family by her side. Born: on October 8, 1945 in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Stanley and Eva Poulsen. Personal: Diane graduated from South River high school class of 1963. She also attended Rutgers University. Diane and her husband Gary married in 1966, they moved to Washington in 1976 where they raised their family. Diane worked as a bookkeeper for the family business Taylor Rental in Washington. Diane will be remembered as a loving and caring Wife, Mother and friend. Memberships: Diane was a member of the United Methodist Church of Washington, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. Diane loved to sing in addition to the Church choir, she also sang with the Musical Art Chorus in Easton, PA. She was a member of the Washington Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Diane and her husband Gary met as Scouts which led to her becoming a volunteer of both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts with their children. Diane also enjoyed gardening and sewing. Survivors: Her devoted husband of 47 years, Gary Nagy, her beloved children, a daughter Laura Merrill and her husband Kurt, a son Todd Nagy and his wife Jodi. Three Grandchildren, Kyle, Jason and Samantha. Services: Friends and family may call on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave Washington, NJ 07882. And again on Thursday October 17, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral Service to begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Washington Cemetery. Memorials: may be made in Diane's name to the United Methodist Church of Washington, 116 East Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
