Obituary of Vincent J. Perna
Vincent J. Perna, 74, of Port Murray, passed away suddenly at Morristown Hospital on January 8, 2010.
Born: On September 20, 1935, in Plainfield, NJ, he was a son of the late Rocco Perna and Mary Garafalo Perna.
Personal: Vince was a resident of Port Murray for 15 years, formerly of Warren, NJ. He was owner/operator of CVP Masonary, Warren, NJ, he was semi-retired. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Vince was a 'gentleman farmer' who also enjoyed church activities, gardening and fishing, and was known to be quite fond of the track.
Memberships: He was a member of St. Theodore's RC Church.
Survivors: His loving wife of 29 years, Carol J. Pauze Perna; son, James Perna; two daughters, Debbie Coca and Cindy Staugil; two step-sons, Robert J. Mildrum and his wife Julie of Fairfield, CT and Jeff Mildrum and his wife Elisa of South Plainfield, NJ; sister, Matilda Mack of Georgia; nine grandchildren, Michael, Zack, Jared, Stacy, Jennifer, Steven, Christina, Brittany and Amber.
Services: Will be Wednesday January 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Theodore's RC Church, Port Murray, NJ. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Washington.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Theodore's RC Church, Port Murray, NJ 07865. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
