Obituary of Dorothy A. Pfeiffer

Dorothy A. Pfeiffer, 76, of Washington Twp., NJ died on Friday, December 5, 2008 at Easton Hospital. Born: On May 15, 1932, in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Sylvester Saldino who died in 1977 and Ruby Kemp. Personal: She was a resident of Washington Twp. since 1972. Previously she resided in Changewater, NJ. She was a packer for the American Can Company in Washington NJ for over 35 years until her retirement in 1995. Mrs. Pfeiffer was very devoted to her family and friends. Survivors: She is survived by four children, Rene' Warne and her husband, Russ of Belvidere, NJ, Thomas Pfeiffer and his wife, Marianne of Albuquerque, NM, Nancy Smith of Washington Twp, NJ and Paul Pfeiffer and his wife, Karen of Pen Argyl, PA; her mother Ruby Saldino of Changewater NJ; her brother Sylvester "Whitey" Saldino of Changewater; and her sister Brenda Oakes of Clinton NJ; 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1984, and her sister Rita Smith in 1982. Services: Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday. Those wishing to attend should arrive at the funeral home at 10:30 AM.
