Obituary of James R. Rogers

James R. Rogers 89, formally of Hampton, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 22, 2014. Born: on December 15, 1924 in Fayetteville, TN to the late John and Elizabeth Rogers Personal: Jim worked as a Manger/Forman for Grief Brothers Barrel Co in Hampton for more than 55 years before retiring in 1994. His loving wife Charlotte passed away in 1994. He enjoyed playing his guitar and listing to Blue Grass music. He cherished time spent with family especially his grandchildren. Survivors: His loving daughters Becky Perkowsky and her husband Frank, Mary Nagle. Two sons John Rogers and his wife Diane, Allen Rogers and his wife Gina. A sister Virginia Cooley, three brothers Billy Rogers, Ray Rogers and Clay Rogers. 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Survivors: His loving daughters Becky Perkowsky and her husband Frank, Mary Nagle. Two sons John Rogers and his wife Diane, Allen Rogers and his wife Gina. A sister Virginia Cooley, three brothers Billy Rogers, Ray Rogers and Clay Rogers. 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Services: Friends and family may call on Friday June 27, 2014 from 1-3 & 6-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Musconetcong Valley Presbyterian Church on Valley road in Hampton. Interment will follow at the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery. Memorials: donations can be made in James's name to the Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1247 S.
