Obituary of Frances Roberts

Frances A. Roberts, 87, formerly of the Brookfield section of Belvidere and Port Murray, NJ passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Bedminster, NJ March 11, 2013. Born: June 14, 1925 in Rahway, NJ to the late Leo and Freda Janitz. Personal: Besides being a homemaker. Frances worked as Packer and Printer for M&M Mars Co. in Hackettstown, earlier in her life she worked for the New York Telephone Company. She attended school in New York City. Frances enjoyed knitting, reading, music, traveling and baking. She was famous for her Lemon Meringue pies. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Survivors: Her loving daughter, Marie Roberts; a step son, Arthur Roberts; a step daughter, Norma Tucker; cousins, Joyce and Amy Lawton; grandchildren, Daryl DeRogatis, Christine Tucker, Robert Tucker, Tina and JD Roberts; two great grandchildren, Mae DeRogatis and Anthony DeRogatis Jr.; many nieces and nephews. Her beloved Husband Norman "Robbie" Roberts passed in 2002; four brothers, Albert Janitz, Edward Janitz, Robert Janitz and Arthur Janitz; and a sister, Marie Quinn all passed earlier. Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 11 a.m. service at Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234. W. Washington, Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Cremation was private.
