Obituary of Rosalie Sandberg
Rosalie Sandberg, 62, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully at home November 24, 2012.
Born: April 18, 1950 in Newton, NJ to The late Stephen and Katherine Nemeth.
Personal: Residence, 25 years in the Washington area. Previous residence, Blairstown, NJ and Whitehouse Station.
After High School Rosalie worked as a Nurse. From 1980 to 1996 she owned and operated Dawn to Dusk Farm Stand in Washington, NJ. After retiring, Rosalie worked as an LPN for Horizon Healthcare out of Marlboro NJ she was the personal caretaker for a special needs child from Greenwich, NJ. She would accompany the child to and from school daily, taking the school bus with him and caring for him during the day at school.
Rosalie graduated from Hunterdon Central High School class of 1968.
Rosalie loved gardening, she was known for her "green Thumb" as anything she planted always seemed to blossom with her care. She also raised Maltese puppies. She loved her dogs and caring for the puppies. Rosalie was an excellent cook. Even after a long days work she wanted to cook, she found it relaxing. Her meals were made with love and she truly enjoyed preparing them. Her family was her world. She always put others before herself. She treasured the moments spent with her family and her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Survivors: Her devoted husband, Carl "Rudy" Sandberg of Washington, NJ; a loving daughter, Stephanie Herremans Ercolano; a loving son, Joshua Herremans; four sisters, Linda Poliacik, Kathy Doyle, Mayme Nemeth and Dale Wardle; one brother, Stephen Nemeth; three grandchildren, Chelsea, Ryan and Lauren Ercolano.
In addition to her parents, Rosalie is predeceased by an infant son, Job Herremans; and a sister, Marylou Nemeth.
