Obituary of Muriel D. Stein

Muriel "Reina" Stein, 55, of Lopatcong, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2012 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Born: August 7, 1957 in Valley Stream, NY, daughter of the late Stephen Reina and Gloria Reina of Valley Stream, NY. Personal: She formerly lived in Piscataway, NJ and Valley Stream, NY. Muriel was a Sous Chef. Muriel graduated from Central High School, Valley Stream, NY, class of 1975. Muriel was of the Catholic faith. Muriel loved gardening, She was an avid NASCAR fan with her favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. She loved to cook, especially for her family. As passionate as she was about cooking nothing gave her more joy than her grandchildren. Muriel cherished every moment spent with them and her family. Survivors: She is survived by her daughters, Kristen and Nicole; sons-in-law, Jason and Alfred; her mother, Gloria; and her siblings, Jeanne, Michele, John; and nine nieces and nephews. She is the beloved grandmother of Christopher, Alyssa, Darryn, Austin and Bailey. Her memory and spirit will live on in her many family members and friends, including Michael Stein. She was predeceased by her father, Stephen John Reina; and her brother, Stephen Joseph Reina. Services: Please join us for a celebration of Muriel's life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Father Blaise Baran officiating, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
