Obituary of Margaret A. Sassone

Margaret A. Sassone, 96, formerly of Hopatcong, NJ and New York, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2008 in Andover Nursing Home. Born: On April 16, 1912 in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ann Moran. Personal: Her loving husband, Daniel Sassone, died in 1986.She was an administrative assistant for 25 years, employed with the New York Times, New York, NY. She graduated from Mt.Holyoke College in Massachusetts with a BA in Liberal Arts. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Rugas and her husband, Joseph of Connecticut, and a cousin, Paul Moran and his wife, Denise, of Sussex. Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in St. Theodore Catholic Church, 855 State Highway #57, Port Murray, NJ 07865. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Father Anthony Sirianni officiating. Cremation will be private.
