Kenneth A. Fisher, 77, of Mansfield Twp. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2013, at home, surrounded by his family. Born: Ken was born in Washington, NJ, on May 11, 1936, to the late Raymond and Margaret Fisher. Personal: Ken was a lifelong resident of the Washington area. He graduated from Washington High School, class of 1955. He attended Northampton County Community College. He served proudly in the US Navy during peacetime. Ken owned and operated Fisher Electric before retiring in 1994. Ken was a skilled pilot and enjoyed flying Mooney planes. He was a regular at Gibson's Gym. He enjoyed gardening and landscaping. Ken's most precious moments were spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Memberships: He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Port Murray. He belonged to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association for many years. Survivors: His loving wife of 20 years, Elaine; four sons: Chris and his wife, Cindy, Jeff and his wife, Kerry, Mark and his wife, Denise, and Jason and his wife, Laura; brother Bill Fisher and his wife, Pat; Stepchildren: Suzanne, Jay and Jennifer; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 7-9 on Thursday May 23, 2013, at Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234. W. Washington, Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial with Father Zenon Boczek officiating will be held on Friday May 24, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Theodore Church, 855 State Hwy Route 57, Port Murray, NJ 07865.
