Obituary of Susan A. Tietjan

Susan A. Tietjen, 54, passed peacefully on September 8, 2009, at the Kindred Hospital, Dover, NJ. Born: On June 7, 1955, in Union City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late James and Dolores Hansen. Personal: She lived in Oxford, NJ, previously she lived in Independence Township and Ridgefield Park, NJ. Susan was co-owner of Cruise Planner in Oxford. Earlier in her life she was an administrative assistant for Johnson & Johnson in Morris Plains. Susan graduated from Ridgefield Park High School class 1974. Susan enjoyed reading, sewing and was considered a wine connoisseur . Memberships: Susan was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Oxford. Survivors: Her loving husband of 16 years Michael; sister, Patricia Haas of Washington Township Bergen County; son, Matthew of Texas; many nieces and nephews; sister In-law, Mary-Jo Cree of Alabama. A sister Karen Ingenito passed earlier. Services: Visitation will be on Sunday September 13, 2009, 2 to 4 p.m. & 7 to 9 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home 234 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral Services will be Monday September 14, 2009 , a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with Fr. Richard Rusk Officiating, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 85 Academy St Oxford, NJ 07863. Cremation will be private. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 85 Academy St Oxford, NJ 07863.
