Obituary of Joan Winters

Joan E. Winters 73, of Williams Twp, PA passed away peacefully at home on Monday October 7, 2013 Born: Joan was born on June 3, 1940 in Verona , NJ to the late Charles and Hilda Kloepfer Personal: Joan graduated from Verona high school class of 1958. She attended beauty school in Bloomfield, NJ. Joan and her late husband Michael " Mickey " Winters raised their family and resided most of her life in Washington , NJ before moving to Williams Twp in 2005. Joan worked as a receptionist at her daughter's beauty salon "Sensations" in Washington . She enjoyed interacting with friends and family on facebook. Joan loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Joan will be remembered for her contagious smile and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Memberships: Joan was a devote catholic and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors: Her beloved children, two daughters; Michele Caporin and her husband Rob, JoAnn Loveatz and her husband John, a son Michael "Mickey" Winters Jr. A brother Chuck Kloepfer and his wife Candy; Four Grandchildren Victoria, Gianna, Faith and Kira. Her two canine companions Buddy and Harley. Her husband of forty years Michael " Mickey" Winters Sr. preceded her in death Services: Friends and family may call on Friday October 11, 2013 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave Washington , NJ 07882 . A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave , Washington , NJ 07882 . Inurnment will follow at the parish cemetery. Memorials: Donations in Joan's name may be made to St. Joseph Church, 200 Carlton Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
