Obituary of Thomas Gould

Thomas Gould, 70, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on September 29, 2015 in the Brakeley Park Care Center in Lopatcong Township, NJ. He was born on November 24, 1944 in Sussex, NJ to the late Chester and Florence Gould. Tom was a graduate of Newton High School class of 1962. He was of the Catholic faith. Tom worked as a serviceman for AmeriGas in Clinton, NJ and Stroudsburg, PA for more than 30 years prior to his retirement in 2012. Tom enjoyed watching NASCAR, cheering for the Washington Redskins and spending time with his grandchildren. In his younger years he enjoyed golfing and was an avid drag racer. He raced at tracks throughout New Jersey. He also enjoyed attending car shows with his son, Mark. He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Bonnie. Loving son, Mark Gould and his wife Jennifer. A brother, Melvin Gould and a sister Barbara Gould. Two cherished grandchildren, Sophia and Sebastian. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 7:00 PM -9:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Graveside service will be held Saturday October 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Newton Cemetery, Newton, NJ In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
