I only recently learned of Henry's death. I was always happy to think of him and his love of his mother's apple pie. He is one of the best persons to have ever walk the earth. I am very happy to hear that he had two sons whom he loved with all of his kind heart. Henry would have only married an exceptional woman. Mary, I cannot imagine your grief. You were lucky among women. God Bless you and your wonderful children.

Hank was a great classmate in High School and a friend afterwards. All though Hank and I didn't see each other often when we did we always connected and had great times of talking. I just learned of his passing on Saturday 12-19-15. I heard it from a mutual friend at Licon lighting on rt 57. When I asked about Hank his expression said it all. I wep because I will miss my friend. He was a fierce competitor, athlete, coach and loved his family. Rest in Peace my friend.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Pfister family. I worked with Hank for quite a while, he was a great worker, friend and most of all family man. No matter how the days went he always had a smile on his face and could always make my day when things were rough. The world has lost another great man. RIP!!!

To the Pfister Family:
We are very deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Hank who we knew as Henry growing up on Ramsey Rd as back yard neighbors and as team players on the Senior League baseball team for many years. Even though my family (Paul, Dick and Pete) haven't seen him for many years, his name was in our conversations many times and always in our hearts and minds. He was certainly one of the finest human beings, baseball player and sportsman that we know. We expect Hank is happily looking down on us and his loving family.

Dear Mary, Devin & Brandon - We are praying for all of you. Hank was a wonderful husband and an awesome dad. We have many fond memories of him coaching sports and just being around all the boys, which was his love. Hank came to a saving knowledge of Jesus and grew in his faith; so we are confident where he is. He now has a healthy body and is having a perfect life for all eternity. As much as all of us are going to miss him terribly, this is not good-bye, for we will see him later. That day will be a wonderful reunion! Until then, remember all the love he had for you (his family), lean on your friends and family here and know that the Lord will help you each and every day.

To the Pfister family, my deepest condolences for your loss.
Henry W. Pfister,, "Hen" to me was my first and best friend. I usually called him "Hen," Hank not as frequently as his dad was "Hank" to me. As a child I lived two doors down from his childhood home. My earliest childhood memories include him. We were a neighborhood of a lot of kids and the empty lot next door to the Pfister home, the "Orchard," on Orchard Road was our playground. Countless games of baseball, football, "army" and apple fights occurred in that Orchard. The Pfister home was home base to many of us neigborhood kids and we were watched over by Hen's parents Hank and Tracy. Even as kids we all called them Hand and Tracy! They were great!
At 13 my father moved my family to Bound Brook but I kept coming back to Middlesex to see Hen and his family. We kept in touch during college and found the gym together. Hen became my first workout partner and we spent a lot of time at the gym. He got big, I didn't. Hen drew a lot of people to him and we often all hung out on the weekends. Jobs, family, moves and all the associated responsbilities eventually pulled us apart as is so often the case but we still caught up from time to time when we were around for the Holidays. I stayed in touch with Hen through his parents as well. They were like my second set of parents and I often stopped by to just see them and say HI. Hen was never far from my mind as any childhood memory was likely to include him and then about 18 years ago I moved back to Middlesex. Since then I have walked my dogs past his house and our old playground several times a week for the last 18 years. Memories always flood back during an early morning or late evening walk when all you have is time to think. I truly thought of Hen daily as I made his name and his childhood phone number part of the many passwords I have to use everyday! Hen, you will never be forgotten my best friend, I will treasure all of my memories of things we did together, places we went and games we played together. I only wish we could have sat together and laughed again as we recalled some of them one more time. Rest peacefully my friend, you will be truly missed by me and all who knew you.
Your friend, Bruce "Trues" Truesdale

I was so saddened when Debby called me Sunday evening to tell me of Hank's passing. Your strong Faith in God has been tested so much lately BUT you have NEVER ONCE WAIVERED. Hank was loved by so many and I know that love will carry over to you and your boys during this difficult time in your lives. The grief is strong right now but I know you will be able to sit back and smile or even laugh and yes sometimes shed a tear or more but your Faith will get you through until that time comes. God Bless you all.

I am truly saddened by the passing of this wonderful man. I had the pleasure of working with him during baseball and basketball and always found Hank to be passionate, fair and genuinely concerned for the children. He was such a gentleman. My prayers go out to his wife, Mary and his children as they grieve their loss. May God bring them peace.
