Obituary of Betty M Cryan
Betty M. Cryan, 86, passed away peacefully at Praxis Alzheimer's Facility in Easton, PA on Friday, May 27, 2016.
She was born on April 20, 1930 in Oxford, NJ to the late Floyd and Ada Riddle.
Betty graduated from Washington High School class of 1948. She was married to Joseph Cryan for 63 years until his passing in 2013. Betty was employed at American Can as a machine operator for 34 years until her retirement in 1986. She was of the Methodist faith and a parishioner of Oxford Methodist church prior to moving to Florida. She returned to New Jersey after the passing of her husband and lived in Washington until moving to the Praxis Nursing home. She enjoyed word search puzzles and was an avid reader, her favorite author being Danielle Steel. She was a baseball fan, always routing for the Phillies.
She is survived by her loving sons, Joseph R. Cryan and his wife Connie and Thomas J Cryan and his companion Colleen Pels. 3 grandchildren, John, Mark and Dale Cryan. In addition to her husband Joseph, she is preceded in death by a brother James and a sister Sue Ann.
In abiding with her wishes, services will be private.
