Obituary of Robert Collins

Robert Collins, 80 a lifelong resident of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully on June 12, 2016. Born on December 7, 1935 in Oxford, NJ to the late Landis and Charlotte Collins Sr. Robert graduated from Washington high school class of 1955. He was a Lathe operator for Ingersoll Rand in Phillipsburg for more than 25 years before retiring in 1980. Robert was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Oxford. He enjoyed gardening and was a collector of everything. Robert is survived by a daughter Tammie Moon and her husband Joseph; a brother Ronald Collins; a grandson Joseph Moon; a sister In-law Lori Collins and nephews Ryan and Sean Collins; He was preceded in death by a brother Landis Collins Jr. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday June 19, 2016 from 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 85 Academy St. Oxford, NJ 07863. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations may be made in Roberts name to the Oxford Emergency Squad, 76 Academy Street, Oxford, NJ 07863.
