Obituary of Carl F Cambria
Carl F. Cambria, 90, of The Chelsea at Brookfield, Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on January 14, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Claire's Hospital in Dover, NJ.
He was born on December 4, 1926 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Joseph and Emma (Larson) Cambria.
Formerly of Kearny, NJ, Carl served proudly in the US Army during WWII in the Philippines. He was employed as a machinist for Sier-Bath Gear Co. of North Bergen, NJ for over 30 years before retiring in 1988. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a Life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars POST 2514, New Bern, NC. Carl enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Mostly he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carl is survived by his loving wife Christina of 68 years. In addition he is survived by his sons Carl J. Cambria and his wife Debbie, Douglas Cambria and his wife Lynne; his grandchildren Carl D. Cambria and his wife Jennifer Diana, Adam Cambria and his wife Rebecca, and Courtney Cambria; and his great grandchildren Carl M. and C. George Cambria and a soon to be third great grandson.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday January 28, 2017 from 11:00 AM � 1:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. A Memorial Service will be held immediately following at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
