I just learned of Neil's passing. I know how absolutely tragic this loss is for your family and all of his loved ones. It is also an awful loss for all of us in Kean's School of Environmental and Sustainability Sciences where Neil has become part of our family too. His warmth, intelligence, great experience, and kindness have left such an impression on me, and all of us. We greatly appreciate his dedication and know that the drive from home was not easy for him to make to teach here. He saw this college through many changes and was always happy to take the time to reflect on his time here. He inspired many of our students, and many of our faculty. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know him. I wish you strength and love during this incredibly difficult time.

I am so sorry that this happened to you ! Words can not explain the pain I'm sure your family has gone through in this last week. Mr Brons I'm not sure if you would of remembered me but I will never forget you and Peggy. I remember it was Kings Village and our kids were dating. I remember the 2 kids horsing around and Ray falling on your daughter's knee and her having to have surgery. That how I met you and Peggy, it's something I will never forget. I've been through loosing a family member so many times and it never gets easier know matter how many years go by it always feels like yesterday. Please help them stay strong and again I'm sorry this happened. God Bless the Brons family and your forever in my heart.
Sincerely,
Jackie Hourigan / Santella

To Neil's family-
I was a fellow adjunct professor with Neil at Kean University and Middlesex County College. He was so helpful when I first started at Kean and made me feel welcome. I remember him pushing his cart with rocks, sediments, and sieves down the hallway. He loved earth science. He was popular with students and I know this is sad news for them. He will be missed.

To the Brons Family.
I am so sorry as well as shocked with the sudden loss of Neil.
He was a Great Man, Father, and Grandfather...a Family Man.
He was a Man of Integrity, Loyalty, and an Honor that no one can
ever deny. Though the many years I have know him, he was like a
Brother to me....as you all have been like Family to me.
I know that Little can be said that can ease the pain you are feeling,
but please know of our Warmest Prayers for Neil and you all....We Love You.
