Obituary of Jeffrey Thomas Vroom

Jeffrey T. Vroom, 54, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully at Hunterdon Medical Center on December 6, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Born on June 18, 1963 in Plainfield, NJ to the late William and Jean Vroom. Jeffrey was a graduate of Watchung Hills Regional High School Class of 1981. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country for 8 years. He married the love of his life and best friend Dawn in 2000. Jeffrey was employed as a Realtor for Weichert Realtors. He also worked part time as a bar tender at the Brasserie 513 in Califon, NJ. He truly enjoyed working with people. Jeffrey was an avid NY Yankees fan and a NY Giants fan. He enjoyed cooking and to barbecue. He loved the outdoors and yard work. His favorite pastime was Golf and he played as often as he could. Most of all he loved life and the life he shared with his wife Dawn. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife Dawn, his caring siblings, a sister, Juliana Warren and her husband Harry and a brother Peter Vroom and his wife London. A nephew, Jake Warren. Mother-in-law, Jackie Edwards, Sister-in-law April Elliott and her husband Lester and two nieces Ava and Ivy Butler of PA and his dear friend Johnny "O". He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Jean Vroom and his father-in-law, James Edwards. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 3-6 PM, at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 Memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 6:00 PM in the funeral home.
