Obituary of Edith I Ferencze

Edith I. Ferencze, 96, of Kingwood, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on March 5, 2018. Edith was born on July 28, 1921 in Spotswood, NJ to the late Orville and Myrtle Magee. Edith graduated from Spotswood high school class of 1939. She was primarily a homemaker but also worked for Johnson & Johnson during WWII. Her loving husband John Ferencze Sr. passed away in 1996. Edith was known as Aunt Edith to all the neighborhood kids. Edith and her family were members of the church of Christ in Washington for many years. She had also been a member of the Locktown Grange and a Girl Scout leader. Edith enjoyed camping with family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Anna Pandy and her husband, Paul. Sons, John Ferencze and his wife, Karen, Steven Ferencze and his wife, Holly and Peter Ferencze and his wife, Sharon. She is also survived by a brother, Herbert Magee, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by Brothers Kenneth and Melvin Magee and a sisters Eleanor Boyce, Marilyn Hogue and Erma Butler. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday March 9, 2018 from 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday March 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edith's name to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
