Please accept my sympathy for the death of your dear Mrs. Tompkins. Your heavenly Father shares the loss also (Ezekiel 18:32). He has wonderful plans for her future (Hosea 13:14; Revelation 21:3-5). Here is the link to a short video about the hope for our dead loved ones that has helped me over the years: https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=share&prefer=content&applanguage=E&locale=en&item=pub-imv_4_VIDEO&docid=1011214. I sincerely hope it will benefit you as well. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. Psalm 37:11, 29; Philippians 4:6-7.

There is no pain more unbearable than loss. When we lose someone we love we replay our memories of them, trying to remember them just the way they were, but over time our memories fade. The Bible points to someone else who remembers those who have died. “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28,29) ‘Those in the memorial tombs.’ This term refers to those who have died being in the ‘memory’ of God. He has not and will not forget them, his memory never fades. God will use his memory of them to bring them back to life. They “will hear his voice and come out.” May this future hope comfort your greiving hearts at this difficult time.

Dave, Heather, Taaffe and Karrissa:
Words can not express how very sad and sorry we all are. I remember first meeting Karen at PreSchool for the kids at Warren Tech many years ago, and have been friends ever since. I know how much she loved all of you and how she adored her Grandkids. She will be missed. Our hearts thoughts and prayers are with you all. Please let us know if we can help you in any way.
