Obituary of Richard W. Thompson

WASHINGTON-            Richard W. Thompson, Jr., 61, of Washington, NJ passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Richard was a life member of the Washington Borough Fire Department, member of the Washington Emergency Squad and council member of Washington Borough.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife Patricia “Patti”, loving children Paula, Robert and Amber, cherished granddaughters Abygale and Morgan and his sisters Tracy, Dolly and Holly.  He is predeceased by his parents Richard W. Thompson, Sr. and Lorraine E. (Kinnaman) and a grandson Robert W. Thompson, Jr.

Viewing will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Warren Hills Memorial Home 234 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ (908) 689-0119.  Funeral service will be Monday, November 5, 2018 11:00 am followed by a religious service at 11:30 am at the funeral home.  Burial at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton Borough, NJ.
