Obituary of Phyllis Belle Posipanka

Phyllis Belle Posipanka, 82, of Oxford, NJ passed away early in the morning of December 16, 2018 at home with her family. Born on February 26, 1936 in Easton, PA to the late Vincent and Belle Klink, Phyllis grew up in Newark, NJ. After graduating from Westside High School in Newark in 1954, she worked for The Prudential Insurance Co in Newark for several years. Phyllis met Michael Joseph Posipanka, Jr. in 1957 and the two married in August of 1959. She liked to travel and spend time with family and friends. Phyllis was kind-hearted and always wanted to help people. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Michael Posipanka Jr.; daughter, Patricia Gianakouros; her husband Sarantos; brother, Vincent Klink; Grandsons, Thomas and Nathan Gianakouros. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by a daughter Mary and a son Michael III. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday December 20, from 12:00-3:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven cemetery privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis' name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
