I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's Passing. I have great memories of us all at the Wyoming St and Douglas Lane houses when we were kids. I always felt safe and secure around Aunt Mary and Uncle Earl. Quite a few years after moving to FL, I was visiting and Aunt Mary stopped by my parents house. She gave me the biggest hug and the safe, secure feeling was still there. I can see her and my Mom, Birdy, having a cup of tea together. Uncle Earl, Mark, Steve and families, you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Jimmy

Mary was such a sweet neighbor. She had such a kind and generous heart. Always doing for others. I loved our little chats. She would come outside while I was in the yard and she would ask how my kids and husband were doing. She will be missed. RIP.

I babysat for Marc and Maria when they were little. Then I saw Mary and Earl over the years at my sister’s house. What a wonderful, kind woman!! I will hold her dear to my heart forever!!! God bless you all!

I have fond memories of my Aunt Mary. One year Dad brought me out to visit. Aunt Mary made spaghetti that night. I remember her standing at the stove cooking, and she told me "always cook with wine!"and held her glass up, salute! I have always done that, and will raise my glass to Aunt Mary! She and Maria and all the Ranelli kids are reunited in Heaven.

Mary was the heart of Douglas Lane. She listened, she consoled and occasionally showed us how we were wrong in her motherly fashion. She was always there to lend a hand regardless of the need. I remember one instance when I had broken a piece of crystal. When it shattered some of it landed in the playpen where our daughter was playing and unfortunately had a piece lodged in her foot. I had no vehicle at the time so I grabbed my baby and ran to the one person I knew would help. Mary drove us to the hospital and waited with our 3 year old son in the waiting room while the ER doctors took care of our daughter. Mary brought us back home and in her motherly fashion calmed us all down. Our family is so very sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed but remembered by all of us.
