My heartfelt condolences Carol, Kelsey and Carter on the loss of your husband, dad and a wonderful neighbor of mine whose memory I will always cherish. Funny how the loss of a person wakes up a deeper meaning and appreciation of their life and brings them to reside within our heart.
Hey Jim, watching this video that Carol and your kids put together brought back some great memories of you from days long gone. During the years that I've known you, we've shared some awesome conversations, great chess games, good songs and a hearty celebration of life. And never ever a sore word was spoken between us. It's kind of funny while on my way home this evening to get ready for your memorial service and something prompted me to look to my left where I saw a sign which I never saw before, even that I've traveled the same road. And on this sign in big bold letters it was written "VALHALLA". Then I remembered my old Norse/Viking mythology that Valhalla is the great hall where the valiant go. And you fought a good battle buddy. Now you can rest peacefully. Thank you for your kindness and friendship.
